Safe Turangi is a non-profit organisation. Safe Turangi provides a coordinated and sustainable approach to addressing local concerns by building on local capacity to maximize resources and volunteer support.

Safe Turangi enables for a commmunity led model (rather than a one size fits all solution) in order to better meet community aspirations to improve community well-being.

The volunteer governance committee of 8 members, supported by a part-time coordinator, focuses on community led development by fostering people, projects and partnerships that support positive community wellbeing; nurturing a proud community, safe community and connected community.
